Last updated: April, 2026

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Clean Cans Ontario, operating as Maggot Wrangler (“ we”, “our”, “us”). By signing up for or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Services Provided

Maggot Wrangler provides residential garbage bin cleaning services using high-temperature, pressure washing systems.

Services include:

3. Service Areas and Zones
  • Cleaning of garbage, recycling, and/or organic (green) bins
  • Interior and exterior cleaning of bins
  • Use of water heated to approximately 200°F to sanitize and remove bacteria, debris, and odours

We currently service select towns and neighbourhoods within Simcoe County and North Barrie.

If you are outside a current service area:

  • Service is route-based and limited to specific areas we actively operate in
  • We do not service isolated or single rural stops outside established routes
4. Scheduling and Service Timing
  • You may join our waitlist
  • We encourage grouping multiple households together to help establish a new service zone

Bin cleaning is performed the day after your municipal waste collection.

Our service is offered on a monthly or bi-monthly basis and is scheduled based on your selected bins and collection days. Service times are not guaranteed and are completed within your scheduled route window.

  • Your municipal collection follows this rotation:
  • — Week 1: Garbage + Green Bin
    — Week 2: Recycling + Green Bin

Important:

Example:

  • Your service may be split across multiple dates within the same service cycle based on your municipal pickup schedule.
  • Not all bins are cleaned on the same date

This still counts as one "Visit". Customers may see multiple upcoming service dates in their portal. These represent different bins being cleaned, not additional charges.

  • Week 1: Garbage + Green Bin
  • Week 2: Recycling
5. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure successful service, customers must:

Bins must be placed at the curb and be clearly visible and accessible. Bins that are blocked, obstructed, or not accessible at the time of service may result in the visit being counted. We clean empty bins only.

  • Place bins at the curb on their scheduled service day
  • Ensure bins are empty
  • Provide safe and unobstructed access
6. Missed Service Policy

If bins are not placed out for service:

If service is missed: The visit will still be counted. One (1) complimentary reschedule may be provided if the customer notifies us once bins have been placed out again.

  • You will receive a notification that your bins were skipped
  • If our driver is still nearby, you may have a short opportunity to place bins out
7. Payments and Billing
  • To request a reschedule, the customer must notify us once bins have been placed out again
  • Additional reschedules will be subject to a $10.00 return fee
